2026 retreat
Saltlines is a thoughtfully curated day by the sea for writers seeking space to slow down, reconnect with their creative voice, and deepen their craft in a supportive, nourishing environment.

Set against the rhythm of the coastline, the day gently weaves together body, breath, and creativity. The morning opens with beginner-friendly tai chi and guided breathwork - simple practices designed to settle the nervous system and open space for ideas to emerge.

Throughout the day, you’ll take part in guided writing sessions, meaningful prompts, and small-group feedback circles that offer insight and connection. Craft conversations will explore voice and creative direction, while practical sessions on publishing pathways provide clarity for those considering their next steps.
A long, relaxed coastal lunch invites conversation and community, followed by time for a silent beach walk - an opportunity to reflect, notice, and listen deeply to your inner landscape as well as the natural one.

Saltlines is not a traditional workshop. It's an invitation to step away from the noise of daily life and into a slower rhythm where creativity can unfold with intention and care.

Whether you are beginning a new project, seeking fresh perspective, or simply longing for dedicated creative space and connection, Saltlines offers a day of restoration, inspiration, and gentle momentum for your writing journey.
