'My Friend Alice’ has been lovingly written to educate and comfort families of children with a disability. The purpose of this story is to ensure that children understand that our differences are what make us special.

We all have things we are good at and things we need help with, especially people with a disability. With suggestions on inclusive play and celebrating diversity, this beautifully illustrated children's book introduces readers to three special characters; Alice, Dennis, and Sebastian.

Quote from book: “Have you noticed that we’re all different? Sometimes, it’s because of our skin colour, how we talk, or how we move around. In my school, we have kids of all abilities.”
