Living in Mackay, Queensland, Australia, Kay Mackle is in a long-lasting loving relationship. She is a mother of two adult sons and a grandmother to four grandsons, a family she is thankful for. She has many friends whose guidance she is grateful for.

Believing in fairy tales kept her childhood manageable. A lonely child, she explored her imagination to help keep herself entertained. She did not know why her questions were not answered, nor did she understand why people would rather lie or ignore the facts of life.
