War was her beginning. The wild was her becoming.
Born in the chaos of WWII in London, young Margaret ‘Maggie’ Jones enters the world amidst fire and falling bombs. When her father, a passionate conservationist, takes the family from post-war London to the wild heart of Burma, Maggie finds herself immersed in a landscape alive with wonder and danger.
From the fierce loyalty of her new friend, Mae, to unforgettable encounters with elephants, lions, and orangutans, Maggie’s childhood brims with adventure. Yet, as the jungle weaves its magic, shadows also gather and forces beyond her control threaten to shatter her world.
Tender, evocative, and unforgettable, The Elephant Whisperer’s Daughter is a story of resilience, friendship, and the enduring strength of love across cultures, generations, and continents.
